Sourav Ganguly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president on Sunday confirmed that everything will go on as per schedule in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Sourav Ganguly’s confirmation comes just some hours after the Maharashtra government announced a weekend lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19. Sourav Ganguly: Everything Will Go On As Per Schedule Earlier Rajeev Shukla, the vice-president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sounded confident that the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will go ahead “without any problem”, despite a rise in Covid-19 cases.
